I've found over the years that this works better with small numbers than lots of threads because we're all on different pages.

I saw Oz the Great and Powerful this weekend. Not a bad movie. Not great, but not bad. Entertaining at least.

How you doing on Once Upon a Time Liene?

I'm done with season one. Where everyone remembers.
And I've nearly catched up with Doctor Who

Well catch up on season 2. Also you have 12 days to catch up on Doctor Who.

When I have catched up with Doctor Who, which shouldn't be too difficult, considering that I have 6 episodes to watch in 12 days, and most of the time I watch 2, then I will probably watch some new Once Upon A Time eps

The new season of Once is not as good as season 1 so far. Not enough favorite characters. But still has strong points.

Well, I actually was always more interested in the 'real world' part than in the 'fairytaleworld' part. Was a bit more interesting for me

Nice thread Wolf. Never heard of Once Upon A Time, but im guessing it#s good and i hsould give it a watch xD Couldn't really get into Grimm for some reason though. Just never hooked me in i guess.


As for Oz - it was a pretty "meh" movie to me. James Franco phoned it in like a motherfucker in this movie. Scenes with the monkey were especially bad, he was just looking through him all the time with blank eyes. Ugh. Also Mila's character transformation seemed incredibly rushed, to the point of idiocy, seriously, they were going for a more realistic approach with teh other witches and then, suddenly, BOOM - a fucking cartoon character.

Also, and i know it's just a nitpick, but what happened to the glasses? In the version of Oz that i grew up reading, the Emerald City has always been the biggest trick of the wizard - Only the rooftops were covered with emeralds, while everything else was made of normal glass. Everyone who entered the city was made to wear green glasses with a lock on them to "protect their eyes from the blinding shine of the crystals". None of that here! Wtf?

Once is okay. Some episodes are very good but some are frustrating.

I thought it was all right enough but you're right about her character. Franco is always Franco and not his characters.

I think that last bit has to do with copyright. WB owns some elements like the ruby slippers so some small details like that shit probably weren't used.

I'm continuing my watching of Peep Show now. Season 5 currently.

What's it about?

Watchec Oz today. The visuals were quite nice. Especially the change from black and white to bombasticcolourful was really really nice

If you know who Mitchell and Webb are then it's about characters they play. Otherwise it's about two roommates who have a twisted view of the world...and really you just have to check out the first episode to see.

6 seasons in and it's still good.

This is a great time for TV. Though Archer season finale is coming up. We still have Game of Thrones, Doctor Who, Parks and Rec which are three of my favorite shows.

Don't really like Parks and Rec. The whole "documentary" style puts me off too much. Same reason i couldn't stand the office.

Naw man, Parks and Rec builds to be so much better than The Office and the format. Season 1 is a bit weak because they try to be The Office, but by the end of season 2 is starts to transform and there hasn't been a bad episode since season 3.

Just finished watching the first 6 episodes of the first season of Big Bang Theory and I noticed that my favorit part are the parts where Sheldon and Leonard are walking up/down the stairs. (Thought of sharing that too )

Eugh.. usually it#s a very bad sign when a show takes three bloody seasons to get going 0_o

No way. What's bad is shows that start out great and instead of building, they turn into Heroes season 3.

Anyone of you two watched the first 3 eps of Hannibal with Mads Mikkelsen as Lector? I kinda like it. Even though it is somewhat creepy, from time to time (that's what I also said about Supernatural at the beginning so, who knows what it means). That's a show I'll probably keep watching, if the next eps don't fall down too much in quality. But the journalist is getting on my nerves
