any interesting anime?

yea so ive been out of the anime game for a good while now and was just wondering if there is or was any good anime within the last year to now that i can watch...right now im watching kill la kill and attack on titan.....

but seriously it's a pretty interesting series. The main characters are essentially know as the "team losers" since they fail hard when it comes to actual combat. Then this Gendo Ikari like mofo decides that they should pilot the latest prototype weapons in actual combat

well to be more specific my standards for mechs are really high...zoids was the best mech anime i ever watched tried others just wasnt the same

Well Majestic Prince is above average as far as mech series go(it's one of those "hybrid" series that mix super robot and real robot elements)J_A pirate wrote:k cool

well other than the ones recommended above here is some:
danshi koukousei no nichijo (comedy)
binbougami ga (comedy)
steins;gate (just great)
those are 2011~2012, but if u didn't watch them, this could be a good time xD.

havent' watched anime in ages except for occasional Gintama ep. Try watching attack on titan. People keep orgasming all over how great it is though i personally dropped it after 2 eps.

I'll second Higurashi, it's pretty much the best Mystery/Horror/Psychological/Thriller themed anime ever made. Not to mention it's dark and gory as hell(but not all the time ofc) It's one of my all time favorite series, it's just freaking perfect.hemagoku wrote:mm

After watching the first season, you'll think that you have an idea of wtf is going and that you have seen the "truth"
AND then the second season comes and slaps you in the face for getting too full of yoursel and makes you look again more clearly/from a different perspective. Then you'll be like, oh god so that's how it was/shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit I should have realised that/no fucking way!!!!!!!/WTF so that's what really happened!!! etc.
Oh and it has one of the creepiest and most disturbing opening song like ever(try to listen it with headphones)

i tried watching Higurashi no Naku Koro ni a while back but while i love a good Mystery/Horror/Psychological/Thriller themed anime i just couldn't continue watching this one...always fell asleep at the 1st episode....

but yea other than that not much happens in the first ep(it's not really that fast paced for most of the time)
Things start to happen in the next ep though when people start dying/disappearing
