Movies 2013

So since it's the 1st day of the New Year, we might look at the movies of 2013.
Our newspaper points some out (some of them have probably been aired in the US already but not here). Of the list I'd watch Star Trek and the Hobbit definitely. I'd also be interested in Hitchcock, Django Unchained, maybe the Great Gatsby and because Johnny Depp is in it The Lone Ranger. Isn't Iron Man 3 coming out this year too?

Tony Stark and RDJ are fucking AWESOME. Seriously how come RDJ hasn't gotten an oscar yet?!

BTW in Iron Man 3 Tony is finally gonna show off his new Bugatti

Here's a list of movies I'm looking forward too, with some I'm hoping will be good included, in order of release date.

Warm Bodies (Saw first 4 minutes. Doesn't look bad.)

A Good Day to Die Hard (Less Justin Long more Bruce Wilis? Sold)

Oz: The Great and Powerful (Sam Raimi. Sold)

Iron Man 3 (Sold. But also because Shane Black is directingl I'm sold 3 times.)

The Great Gatsby (Jay Z is doing the score. Confused. Perfect casting, but still on the fence)

Star Trek Into Darkness (Sold. At least twice in theaters.)

Fast and Furious 6 (The after credits scene in Fast Five. Sold)

Much Ado About Nothing (Joss Whedon directed this at his house in a day. Sold)

Man of Steel (New trailers look good. I hope it is. I generally like Zack Snyder movies. Not sure how good it will be, but will see opening weekend.)

This is the End (Good cast, interesting concept. Will maybe see)

Monsters University (Will see eventually if not right when it's out.)

Kiss Ass 2 (First one was great. Add in Jim Carrey and sold)

The Lone Ranger (Basically Pirates 5. Armie Hammer and Johnny Depp look good in the roles. Sold)

Pacific Rim (Guillermo Del Toro. Sold.)

The Wolverine (On fence about quality. But Hugh Jackman always tries. Will probably see.)

Elysium (Director of District 9. If that sells you)

The To Do List (That cast. If good will see.)

Oldboy (Remake I want to be good.)

The World's End (END OF THE THREE FLAVORS CORNETTO TRILOGY! FUCK YEAH!)

Thor The Dark World (The first one was fun and this one is set all in the other worlds which was the best part of Thor)

Frozen (New Disney animation picture. Will keep eye out)

The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug (Sold. Smaug)

Anchorman: The Legend Continues (First one is a classic. I hope it is good. Cautiously hopeful.)

Saving Mr. Banks (Tom Hanks as Walt Disney? Sold)

47 Ronin (Keanu Reeves as a leader of a bunch of samurai? Weird. But at least his character is half white. On the fence)

Aye that exists. It didn't make my list because I'm not that big a fan of the first one. While it started out with potential, the last 1/3 of the movie was anticlimatic. Still it was a good effort for a new studio, Illumination Entertainment, and I give them a lot of props, meaning I will give benefit of the doubt for the sequel. It's really not fair for me to hold them to Pixar/Dreamworks standards.

Pacific Rim is basically a live action anime made by Del Toro. How fantastic is that? Del Toro directed Pan's Labyrinth and the Hellboy movies btw.

Yeah that's the right movie. I can't wait to see that trilogy end. Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, there's no way that plot description for The World's End isn't hiding something.

Paul is not in the trilogy. The trilogy is specifically written by Edgar Wright and Simon Pegg, directed by Edgar Wright, and starring Simon Pegg and Nick Frost.

They're too good friends to not make SOMETHING together. At the very least you can check out how they got famous with their tv show SPACED. It's like 2 seasons and I personally love it.
