Books are awesome!
I am a bookworm and I love it. Books are one of the most awesome, marvellous, amazing and relaxing things ever invented! (If you put some aside, you have to read for University ) The smell when you open a book and forget yourself when you read a gripping book. After just a few minutes, atleast that's what you think, you look at the clock and you nearly fall out of your comfy place because you completely forgot the time while reading. Not much gets over the feeling when you finished a good story and are totally satisfied and happy with the world. I could go on like that for pages I am rereading The Hobbit at the moment and the first case of Commissario Brunetti. I am not pinned on one genre of books, I am up to nearly everything

I'm reading Game of Thrones and Kitchen Confidential these days. A lot of my reading these days is done on articles and what not.

Re: Books are awesome!
I used to be such a massive bookworm when i was younger... jeez, my library had over two thousand books in it (i still have them all) Literally all shelves in two rooms are filled with 'em. But sincem oving to england i kinda stopped reading.. (aside from The Painted Man series, which just kicks ass) quite possibly due to lack of free time and how ungodly expensive books are in england (cheapest is like 7 pounds, dafuq?) and buying them cheap on kindle is just not the same. A book is a book, no gizmo will ever replace that. Also i have still yet to finish writing my goddamn book >< I was supposed to have it in test reading by now, but i'm only half way there >_>

The Kindle is actually pretty great. It looks great with E Ink plus light and easy to carry. For my thicker book needs. I do read comics on paper though.

Kindle is UNBELIEVABLY good for travel, due to how compact it is, but essentially meaningless at home - since i have ACTUAL books by my hand, why would i be holding an electronic device instead?
Re: Books are awesome!
I don't even want to use it when travelling. No way. Nice book with you, chance person next to you in the train asks what you read, and there you have a nice convo going. No one does that with a kindle anymore

You can still ask what they're reading. Even more so when you can't just look at the cover yourself.

I have never seen one do so. I have seen people saying "I have read that book too, it's nice, isn't it" when they could see a real book, though.

It really depends on transportation culture wherever you are. Also how sociable the person is.

I could slap George Martin in his face! Everything's going smoothly, story heads in a nice directions and BAM death. This is soooo frustrating right now. I probably know what Aristotle meant with his catharsis right now, or at least I think I do.
And sometimes I feel like I'm reading Lord of the Rings all over again. Awesome fight scenes, lots of blood death, swordslashes and bowmen and everything else a good, huge, amazing, marvellous fight/war scene needs and BAM your back across the narrow sea and follow a girl with her dragons or a small boy up in the north in his basket.
These books are cruel to the reader But oh so satisfying to read
