I started reading Berserk once... got like 400 chapters in and then it just bored me completely =(

Well they better continue the movie series since if they stop now the berserk fans will most likely let them experience the eclipse in real life   and yea Miura should get his lazy in gear and continue the manga.
I heard a rumor that they might actually launch a new Berserk anime but sadly it's unreliable at best

Yea it would make more sense and they could adapt more of the manga than they could with few movies. The only prob with anime would be cencorship.
From what I hear Miura is being a lazy ass and playing games(it's possible since the guy went on a hiatus to play Idolmaster in the past after all)

Well pretty much everything made in japan these days is censored, anime movies/ovas are just less censored than anime series. For example the new berserk movie has 2 versions, the censored version that was shown in theaters and the not so censored dvd/blu-ray version.
Straight to dvd/blu-ray OVA series would probably be the best choise for something as graphic as Berserk.

Well lets just hope he's on an innovative hiatus instead
