Swedish cannibal found love!!

Isakin Jonsson, known in Sweden and around the world as “the Skara Cannibal”, is in love.

His last relationship didn’t end very well. The 32 year-old murdered his then-girlfriend, 40-year-old mother of five Helle Christensen in early 2011. He removed parts of her body, seasoned, fried, and ate them.

23 year-old Michelle Gustafsson has a bad track record with the opposite sex as well. The “Vampire Woman” killed a father of four and drank his blood, then posted photos of herself with her meal on her face on her personal blog.

It was fate, then, that the two would meet in the Karsuddens psychiatric facility in eastern Sweden. The inmates cultivated their relationship by chatting on the web, and, “We got together on November 13th (2011),” said Gustafsson. “‘Do you want to be my girlfriend?’ he asked on MSN. Then we decided to get engaged, which we did on December 9th.”

“I love Michelle,” said Jonsson. “I have never met anyone like her. I’d like to lead a non-criminal life.”

“We want to get to live together, keep dogs and spend time on our hobbies, piercing and tattoos,” Gustafsson added.

When this will happen is unknown by both parties, as they are serving indefinite sentences.

Inmates at Kardussens are allowed internet and cellular phone access, as long as they do not use the technology for criminal activity. Jonsson has been using the privilege to blog about his thoughts and feelings.

“Most people say at least once in their life that they couldn’t take someone else’s life, but once you have done it, it is no big deal anymore,” said one entry.

After meeting Gustafsson, Jonsson began to claim that the eating of his victim was a calculated move to avoid hard jail time. “I can be convicted but not punished with anything else than continued treatment,” he wrote. “Don’t people understand that this is just a game and only the beginning? Don’t they realize I consciously made sure I got here?”

Christensen’s family is outraged. “With rules like this it feels as if society is allowing me and other relatives crime victims to be insulted,” said her sister.

The two killers, however, seem to be blissfully in love and intent on marrying. No word yet as to plans for the wedding entree.
