Finally the "wolf" strikes back

Ya know it's kinda sad that we(and most other places too) have sections for lame crap like Bleach and Naruto but not for Hajime no Ippo
I mean it's been around longer and is far superior to both. It's easily of one of the best series of all-time and quite possibly the best goddamn sports manga.

Eugh... i will DEF disagree with you. It WAS good up about chapter 600. The fights themselves have become incredibly boring, and, don't get me wrong, the stuff in between fights is fucking hilarious but there's less and less of that as time goes on. And as far as sports manga goes - Eyeshield 21 is superior by leagues - characters, story, tension, humor - everything is better. Not to mention that the games themselves are not boring at all, and it did not rely on the inbetween humor to stay afloat. Seriously though, the last fight that i was not inclined to skip through to the end because of how goddamn boring it was - was the Takamura vs Hawk. THAT was good. The rest was kinda meh. And i flat ut HATE some of the newer characters, so yeaaaah.


On a side note - i can create a section for Ippo if you'd volunteer to keep it up to date with releases, since i don't follow the anime or manga anymore.

Well the fight Ippo had with the champions of other countries were pretty damn good and Miyata vs. Randy Boy Jr. was freaking awesome. Same with Sawamura vs. Mashiba, seeing those 2 crazy mofos tearing each other apart using pretty much everything from backhand hits to elbow drops was glorious(Takamura predicted that finishing move would be a backdrop or a german suplex) lol
