He WAS a shichibukai, and he also shit his fucking pants trying to take whitebeard or the Fleet Admiral on by himself, and had to flee like a pussy once shanks showed up, nto to mention would've been owned by any given admiral if not for the support of his crew. The guys is really not yonkou material o_o

it's because BB wasa part of WB crew so he knew all his territories, so within 2 years he took over them very fast using his new powers and became yokou.. simple as that

Was that fact ever properly stated or are you just assuming? Cause for all our sakes i hope that we have some new, more intimidating and interestign Yonkou for luffy to ultimately own. BB is more of a carry in terms of villainy (pardon teh dota term) meaning he's better off being left alone to syphon more various powers from diff pirates and be the ultimate boss at the end.

Well unless someone shows me the exact page where he's stated as new yonkou im just assuming he's a big shot that took over a lot of WB's territory. I mean for lolzers, brownbeard took over wb's ter as well, but he's no yonkou xD

But the truth is Blackbeard is the 4th. He grew powerful after gaining Whitebeard's powers and quickly took over a lot of territory during the time skip. He also surrounded himself with a strong ass crew after Impel Down.
